About Me

Wherever you are on Earth, you can look up and see the same moon. I moved around often as a teenager, and that quiet consistency was grounding. Eventually I settled in Saskatchewan, finished my B.Sc. in Computer Science (with a side quest in Math), and built a life around the two things I’ve always relied on: logic and imagination.

I’m a software engineer by trade and a writer by instinct. I don’t separate words from code—they’re both systems for expressing ideas and shaping reality. This blog is where those systems meet: a place to explore what I see, feel, and wonder about, filtered through both creativity and computation.

I’ve been programming since 2007, long before I knew what a “career in tech” really looked like. Once I took my first university computer science course, the trajectory was set. I’ve never questioned that choice.

My work—both technical and creative—is influenced by a lifelong love of science fiction. I’ve been an aspiring novelist since I first opened a word processor. I write short fiction, poetry, and occasional fragments of future worlds. I’m fascinated by humanity, technology, and the strange edges where the two collide.

This space is an ongoing archive of what I make and what I imagine. Feel free to look around, wander a bit, and reach out if you want to talk. I’m always interested in conversation.
